Connection and Families

My goal with Peak Play is to enhance connections through play.  I'd like to work with families who have everyday struggles involving listening, communication, trust, honestly, respect etc.  By giving families a safe space to share their thoughts, highlight their strengths, and be heard, allows for some of those walls to come down.  By playing, you are welcoming creativity and acting on your words and thoughts.  Play is fun, interactive and engaging.  When you add a 3rd party facilitator who mediates the group, keeps things moving and asks questions, you now can unite as a group and work towards a common goal together.  Have you ever noticed how a parent can say something, but if the child hears it from someone other than the parent, they all of a sudden "get it"?  

Peak Play aims to create fun, engaging games and activities while facilitating dialog and discussion.

Summer Events/Parties

It is almost summer.  That means picnics, family reunions, holiday parties and of course being outside!

In my opinion, the keys to a good party are:

1.  Lighting
2.  Food/Drink
3.  Music
4.  People
5.  Entertainment/Activities

If you are able to provide #1-4, I can provide #5.  You let me know what kind of party or event you want, and I can provide activities or games for it.  I will customize everything for your needs.

I can work with any and all age groups, or a mixture of ages.

Want traditional games (water balloon toss, lawn games, kickball, 3-legged race) but don't want to run them yourself?  I will supply all the needed equipment and run all the activities.  You get to sit back and relax or partake in the fun!

Want activities that get people interacting?  I can coordinate these as well.

Want team building activities that help you get to know your guests while having fun?

I can also be as creative and goofy as you'd like.

Home School Community

I see that homeschooling has become much more popular from when I was a child.  I love how this community gets together to socialize, support each other and learn together. 

I would like to reach out to the home school community and work with you by facilitating meaningful play.  I can customize games and activities for your group that focus on your goal or expectation.  I have a very upbeat, positive and energetic approach when it comes to the games.  The important part is when I sit back and let the group solve the problems together and then ask the important "ah-ha" questions after.

Parents can learn a lot by watching their children interact in this way.  Are they a leader?  Do they listen to others?  Do they praise their peers?

I could join your group once a month and continue working on various goals.
